Notice Pursuant to Executive Order No. 20-51

I am sorry to send out another message this week, but the COVID-19 pandemic and the waves of statues, guidelines and regulations coming down from the state capitol are forcing us to constantly adapt and adjust over the past two months.
With that said, I am sending this notice and posting it on our website at CandelaProperties.com in order to comply with Executive Order No. 20-51 (the “Order”). This order requires all Colorado Landlords to notify their tenants in writing of federal protections listed in the CARES Act against evictions and foreclosures. I don’t know if any of our properties are ‘covered properties’ under the CARES Act and it’s my understanding that none of our residents participate in a covered program. Therefore, it is my understanding that this doesn’t apply to Candela Properties LLC or any of our tenants, but we are still sending this out in order to comply with The Order.
Here is a link to the CARES Act (Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security): https://www.congress.gov/116/bills/hr748/BILLS-116hr748enr.pdf. Please reference specifically Sections 4022, 4023 and 4024.
Additionally, here is a link to the Center for Disease Control’s website regarding COVID-19 https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html. On it are resources on how to protect yourself and others from coronova virus.
Please let me know if you have any questions regarding these, or other topics. Regardless of the state statues or guidelines, if you are struggling financially or emotionally during these unprecedented times, please let me know so I can put you in contact with resources or agencies to assist. Otherwise, I hope you are all staying safe, healthy and enjoying the beautiful weather.
Sincerely,

Kurt Eilmes
