The weather forecast is calling for frigid temperatures through Tuesday due to a visit from some arctic air. In anticipation of this polar plunge, I recommend taking the following action:
1. Keep your thermostat set to at least 60 degrees (even overnight)
2. Open any sink cabinets in kitchens or bathrooms, especially if they are on an exterior wall.
3. Change your furnace filter if you haven’t already done so in the past 30 days.
4. Make sure hoses are disconnected from exterior spigots
