LAWNS – Lawns in the Pikes Peak region do need watering year round (unless we are receiving ample rain/snowfall). Attached are watering guidelines for throughout the year. We find that interval watering (15-20 minutes in the morning + 15-20 minutes same evening) works best locally. Aeration and fertilization also helps greatly in our climate. Landscapers have recommended Scott’s TurfBuilder Plus 2 or Revive from Home Depot or Lowes. Otherwise, local garden shops such as Spencers, Don’s or Rick’s have local products as well. GUTTERS – Please do a visual check of the gutter system around your home, especially in areas of well-established or large trees. It is imperative we keep those gutters clear of leaves and debris, especially before monsoon season arrives. If you need assistance, please utilize the following:

ALARMS: If you haven’t already in conjunction with the time change, please change the batteries in your smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors. At the same time, check the manufacturer’s date on the unit. If they are approaching 10 years old, please let me know so we can get them replaced.
