I hope everyone is enjoying the start of the spring season (especially with these mild temps). I’ve got several items to cover so I will try and be concise:
1. Your April 2026 rent payment is due one week from today: TUESDAY, MARCH 31, 2026. This is when the ACH withdrawal will take place. If you had any maintenance items addressed recently, please be prepared to include the maintenance deductible with your rent payment.
2. We “sprung” out clocks forward one hour earlier this month. This is always a good reminder to install new batteries in your carbon monoxide detectors and smoke alarms. Also check the manufacturer’s date on those units and if either are approaching 7-10 years old, please let me know as it’s time to replace them.
3. As mentioned above, it’s been a very mild and dry start to the year. Sprinkler companies are already activating/scheduling activation of irrigation systems and our lawns are going to need extra TLC. Here are our recommended list of vendors (in order of preference) to help with lawns and sprinklers (and it’s not too early to contact them and get on their schedules … which is 4-6 weeks earlier than typical years):
LAWNS: Attached are watering guidelines to follow year round. With the lack of snow/rain recently, lawns are parched and could really use some solid watering. I find that the interval watering schedule (20 minutes am + 20 minutes pm versus 40 minutes all at once) is better for our region as does Aeration and proper Fertilization. Scott’s TurfBuilder Plus 2 or Revive work fairly well and local garden shops like Don’s Garden Shop or Spencer’s Lawn also have locally produced products.
